John has been with Brooks Real Estate, Inc. since 1989, and has been involved with the property management department at every level, to include front line property management duties, oversight of the property management program as a manager, and owner.
Such oversight has included management of commercial properties, residential properties, and homeowner associations. John's focus on the commercial aspects of property management includes property management, investment management, and ownership. The focus that Brooks Real Estate, Inc. has developed over the years in the commercial arena has been in maintaining the economic integrity of the property in regards to the facilities management, occupancy rates, and capitalization rates for the ownership. This focus continues to serve our clients well and maximizes both the short term and long term performance of their property.
John's business background, education, and property management involvement has lead to a balanced program with strong positive results for both Brooks Real Estate, Inc. and their commercial clients. Over the nineteen years in property management John has served in various capacities to include president, vice president, treasurer, and committee chair within the National Association of REALTORS® Property Management Committee, Virginia Association of REALTORS®, Property Management Advocacy Group, Williamsburg Association of REALTORS® Commercial Section, and the Community Association Institute. These education, networking, and leadership roles have again served Brooks Real Estate, Inc. and its commercial clients and accounts well with superior results.
